I get the train to London regularly and am always stood at the station in Coventry waiting for a train knowing there is no option of me getting a coffee or vegan snack for breakfast at all until I reach my destination.
One company hoping to make the ‘terror’ of the morning commute a thing of the past is Morning Sunshine Speciality Coffee. Their independent coffee shop in Warwick Parkway is tackling this problem head on by offering a wide range of vegan snacks and alternative milks that taste and look amazing.
I was invited to their cafe today to check out their latest new release a Vegan mozzarella & caramelized onion sourdough panini which can be enjoyed hot or cold as well as their new double shot flat white made with Barista Edition Oatly.

Morning Sunshine Coffee want to offer their new vegan options for rail commuters exclusively at Warwick Parkway train Station however they are expanding fast and hope to be opening three new cafes very soon!
Co-owners Myles and Ashley pride themselves on offering an exceptional customer experience from their coffee to their food and they certainly do.
The bright cafe with ample space and green plants lining the back wall and front bar looks inviting and definitely a welcome sight when waiting for my train in the morning, afternoon or evening.
There’s a yellow cactus on each table which is a nice touch and the staff are incredibly friendly.
Ashley, Myles and the other staff members are knowledgeable about all their food options, vegan milks and snacks and have tried them all so can give you their opinions as well as suggest personal favourites.
The cafe is gaining local support and interest due to their quirky A-Boards which they place out front giving commuters jokes, quotes and tips each and every day.
The vegan options for rail commuters which they currently sell are:
- Croissants
- Mozzarella and tomato croissant
- Banana cake
- Fruit flapjack
- Orange apricot and almond slice
- Mozzarella and red onion chutney toasties
- Mozzarella pesto and sun dried tomato toasties
