MUA Makeup Academy have supplied beauty products to thousand of people around the world for many years now. They are the go to brand for affordable on brand makeup and their company is built on three key words; INNOVATIONEDUCATION AND INTEGRITY.

MUA Cosmetics said earlier this year that they were going to be completely vegan by the 1st November 2019 which marks the start of World Vegan Month.

MUA CosmeticsWhilst the brand haven’t always been vegan they have decided to go back through all of their existing products and reformulate them to make sure that every single one is both vegan and cruelty free.

Around 80% of their 250+ products were already vegan and now the other 20% of their products are also vegan to meet with growing demands from their consumer market.

MUA Cosmetics assured their customers that each product they release ongoing from the start of 2019 will also be vegan and cruelty free, which is amazing news!

Their website has had a revamp to showcase the cruelty free bunny as well as a new “Vegan” tab on the top header showcasing everything in their vegan range so far.

MUA believe in educating everything that they know with their consumers in order to help them get the perfect look and style to suite all skin types and occasions.

They brand that is sold exclusively on their website and in Superdrug stores around the UK is now extremely happy to be standing out against animal cruelty in cosmetics which causes unnecessary and cruel harm to animals such as bunnies, ferrets and monkeys.

They now join an elite group of cosmetics companies such as Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Milani, Too Faced and so so many more.

Compassionate companies such as these are vital in the fight against animal testing and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work. If you’re looking for remove animal products from your life then vegan and cruely free cosmetics are the way to go, you can check out this full list of vegan cosmetic brands from PETA here.

The marketing director for MUA also commented on the move to vegan cosmetics saying “Working towards being 100 per cent vegan has always been our end goal and we’re thrilled that from 1st November all MUA products on sale will be there.

We have always had amazing support from our customer base with regards to our vegan credentials and we know this will be an incredibly positive move for the brand.
