Happy Herd Farm sanctuary

The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary posted the most amazing video to their Facebook recently and we just HAD to show you all. The video shows a calf and piglet called Desi Moo Moo and Lucy happily playing with each other in a field at their sanctuary.

The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary provides a forever home for all types of animals. They will live out their entire lives in a beautiful natural setting treated with kindness and respect.

The journey of this amazing sanctuary started when founders Diane and Stephen got their wonderful calf Desi Moo Moo. When Desi was just 2 weeks old they welcomed their newest member pink pig Lucy, a tiny little piglet and the two immediately bonded. These two life long friends were inseparable from the moment they met. As Desi grew bigger they both joined the third and fourth member Baby the donkey along with her best friend Betty Big Nose, grazing in the giant field that the sanctuary owns. One year later in 2014 the Happy Herd decided to get two male calves, Scooter and Sparky, and they also officially announced our home The Happy Herd!

In case anyone wants to visit or offer to volunteer The Happy Herd is located in the absolutely stunning Fraser Valley, outside Vancouver, Canada, on a huge 4 acres of land. Diane and Stephen wanted to make sure that all visitors both human and animals get when going to the sanctuary is calm and safe which from their happy faces is exactly how they feel. Diane and Stephen are thrilled just how many kind and caring people have found the sanctuary and have wanted to share their experience.

Diane and Stephen have always had animal companions in their lives, they could not imagine ever living without a single one of these beautiful individuals. Their animals have taught them courage, hope, strength, compassion, patience and unconditional love.

When you spend time at The Happy Herd you will soon realize that all animals get along, it’s like out of a children’s picture book.

All family members of The Happy Herd will melt your heart and leave a lifelong impression!
