Scotland is very on-board with the vegan lifestyle with other businesses opening such as a vegan hotel called The Saorsa 1875 which is open to all vegans, vegetarians and veg-curious travelers looking for a place to feel welcome. The hotel is based in Pitlochry within the heart of Scotland and is extremely popular.

There are many recommended things to try whilst in Scotland if you’re a vegan which include Iron Bru – an orange fizzy drink is actually more popular than coca-cola in Scotland and definitely has a unique flavour you wont find in any other fizzy drink. Another recommendation is single malt whisky although we should mention that it has to be single malt whisky and not a cream liqueur or contain honey.
